There is nothing more intimate than finding a little spot in your backyard to celebrate your love.
And that is exactly what Rob and Chris Kitchen did! In Mid September, up in Hegins, PA, the Kitchens got their closest friends and family together and celebrated their nuptials in a simple backyard wedding next to the most beautiful little pond.
They celebrated the way any family would, with laughter, food, and drinks, while the couple danced their first dance, and toasted to all the loved ones that helped make their day perfect! And it was perfect, as the sun went down, even when the downpour forced the bride and her father to flee to a corner of the tent to finish their dance under the glow of the fairy lights. When the rain finally let up, the groom and his mother attempted another starlight dance, to again be chased away but another downpour.
Once the DJ and I rescued our equipment, we went back to work, and I spent the rest of the night, with soaked pant legs, playing with the resident goat, capturing dances by the tiki lights and making new friends I will never forget!
