Offbeat Media launches their brand...

I had the honor of covering the launch of Offbeat Media, owned by basketball player Chris Singleton and co-founder Legreg Harrison founder of The Museum in DC, and their partners Teresa Coble and Faith Laughter also creators of Balanced Communications Group out of Tampa Florida.

And...it was held in the city of LAS VEGAS!

For starters, I had never been there. So...that in itself was an experience. Talking about the city itself would take a whole blog post in itself. But that's not what we are here to talk about.

I'm here to talk about the amazing people behind OFFBEAT and the AMAZING event they held. And I had the honor of being there to capture. it.

Their mission...

OFFBEAT Media LLC is a marketing, PR, and production company with more than 75 years of experience in public relations, print, broadcast, management, and digital marketing. We bring immediate value to individual clients and organizations through a tailored multi-media approach in a three-suite indoor-outdoor production facility. We offer highly specialized service through our expansive network of industry professionals.

My mission....

To capture the moments where they were able to make new connections with potential clients in all walks of life, including but not limited to... the NBA, small liquor companies, clothing entrepreneurs, nutrition and mental awareness companies, and more.

It was a 2-day event, where everyone invited was able to network and get to know each other and it was held, at none other than the Aria Resort and Casino. The Liquid pool was host to the first event. The managers there were fantastic. They made sure everything Offbeat asked for was on point, including making sure I was able to attend the event with my camera. The food, the wait staff, and the environment were exactly what Offbeat needed for this event. We couldn't have asked for better hosts!

Then there was dinner....

Omg...if you can EVER get to a Julian Serrano's Tapas restaurant...DO IT!

The food was amazing. The wait staff..AMAZING...Pedro...my love. You were the best waiter ever! I even got a selfie with the man before I left. So patient. So kind.

He couldn't get over the fact that he was serving the man... who beat his team in the Euro league. Even though he was upset Madrid lost to Turkey...he felt it was truly an honor to serve Chris and his crew.

And Nick...the manager was amazing. He kept things running smoothly and managed our request with grace and poise.

And there...great connections were made. NBA player Quinn Cook made an appearance both nights. I was able to grab pictures of him. BUT...as I hear it..Draymond Green showed up as soon as I put my camera away. I got to meet Jordan DeMercy and Chris Mullin's son Liam. He was fun.

Overall it was an amazing trip and I am truly grateful to OFFBEAT and BALANCED COMMUNICATIONS for this amazing opportunity! I only hope to work with both companies in the future and make more amazing memories!
